GIUSEPPE BARONE

Dr. Giuseppe Barone is a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist specializing in neuroblastoma and innovative treatment modalities, including small molecule therapies and immunotherapy such as chemoimmunotherpay, immunotherapy with antibody anti GD2 and CART. Since July 2016, he has served as the clinical lead for neuroblastoma at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Previously, Dr. Barone worked at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, USA, within the Cancer Treatment Evaluation Program. He also completed his PhD at the Royal Marsden Hospital/Institute of Cancer Research in the UK, where he focused on the biological characteristics of neuroblastoma and its therapeutic strategies.
